Rules for Fools

Definition of Fool: Based on scripture and Ellen White’s writings, a fool is someone who lacks genuine spiritual transformation, despises wisdom, rejects God’s commandments, and lacks grace.
Attitude of Fools: Fools reject correction, are quick to anger, and are often talkative without wisdom.
Unbelief as Foolishness: Psalms 14:1 states, “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.'”
Importance of Wisdom: Proverbs emphasizes fearing God as the beginning of knowledge; fools despise instruction.
Consequences of Foolishness: Foolish behavior leads to destruction and spiritual death.
Personal Reflection: The speaker shared his own journey from foolishness to seeking wisdom through God’s grace.
God’s Law and Holiness: The sermon emphasized that God’s commandments are a reflection of His character and are vital for spiritual life.
