The Law of God

Series: Single Sermons

The sermon explored the moral law (Ten Commandments) as a reflection of God’s character and love. It stressed the law’s permanence and its role in true Christian living.

Theo explained that God’s law is rooted in love—both for God and others—and that Jesus’ life and teachings cannot be separated from the law. Love fulfills the law (Romans 13:10).

Each of the Ten Commandments was examined in reverse order, focusing on deeper, spiritual meanings—e.g., coveting as discontent, bearing false witness as misrepresenting Christ, and hating others as spiritual murder.

The sermon encouraged self-examination and alignment with God’s will. Theo invited listeners to not only understand the law intellectually but to let it transform their hearts and relationships.
